Parvin Dabas and Preeti Jhangiani received a warm welcome at the World Armwrestling Federation in Kazakhstan

Parvin Dabas and Preeti Jhangiani at the World Armwrestling Federation in Kazakhstan

Preeti Jhangiani and Parvin Dabas are a special couple in the genuine sense of the term. Both of them have been married for quite many years and have only kept getting better and stronger as a pair. Apart from the love they have, what makes them stand out as a couple is their love for entrepreneurship and sports. They are a force to reckon with and have been the main individuals behind India’s first-ever Pro Panja League.

The league was a huge success in its inaugural season. Soon after that, the couple completed another milestone as PAFI (People’s Armwrestling Federation India) with Preeti Jhangiani as President was accepted as a full-time member at the World Armwrestling Federation Congress in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Right from Preeti’s acceptance speech at the event to Parvin’s happy moments, we saw it all from Kazakhstan. The couple had a gala time and most importantly, they received wonderful hospitality, treatment and respect from their fellow friends, the likes of Yelena Aliyeva and Ahmed Aliyev. From good food to other incredible experiences, they enjoyed it all. Regarding the experience, both Preeti and Parvin share,

“Well, this was an incredible stepping stone for India in the global map when it comes to the art of armwrestling. We saw the great potential the sport has in Pro Panja League earlier some time back and now, this was just the beginning of many greater things in future for Indian arm-wrestlers. We are thrilled and honoured with the kind of love, appreciation and respect that we have received here. Thank you so much.”

PAFI’s acceptance at the WAF Congress is now all set to be a building block and source of motivation for many arm-wrestlers in the country who think of taking up the game professionally in their life. Amazing and inspiring, ain’t it? Stay tuned for more updates.
