Many emerging actors share similar styles and mannerisms: Rhythm Sanadhya Featured Funtainment by Akanksha - February 7, 20260 Rhythm Sanadhya, who is a popular song director and has worked with singers and artists like Shahid Mallya, Jubin Nautiyal, and Asees Kaur, among others, and recently directed Har Safar Mein from Kapil Sharma’s movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, stated that every artist comes with a certain persona. She has noted the growing demand of social media presence and works on breaking their already established molds. She said, “The truly accomplished actors are fluid, never rigid. Lately, I’ve observed how strongly social media shapes their public image, and that makes it essential for me to connect deeply with them and work more rigorously on their characterization.”“Today, many emerging actors share similar styles and mannerisms, which means I must push harder to uncover their individual X-factor. That is why I insist on workshops before every shoot—so they can shed their own identities and fully step into the ecosystem of the character I am creating,” she added.Asked if she ever felt the pressure to play safe, she spoke about the time when she was directing Ashutosh Rana and felt guilty of fangirling. She said, “I do encounter genuine challenges—especially when an artist’s public image is particularly formidable. For instance, while working with Mr. Ashutosh Rana, I had to consciously set aside my own fan moment and remain mindful that I was directing not only a veteran actor but also a devoted Mahadev bhakt.”“During Rudrashtakam, it was imperative that every detail be treated with absolute respect. I ensured my understanding of the Rudrashtakam was thorough and precise. Whenever I needed to communicate my perspective to him, I articulated my creative ideas in their purest and simplest form,” she added.Rhythm further elaborated that for any actor she works with, she makes sure the essence of her visual language remains intact. She added, “While simultaneously undertaking extensive research into their public persona. I strive to channel that image thoughtfully—presenting them in a way that feels authentic and deeply relatable to their audience.”And as a song director, she looks forward to feedback. She said, “I treat feedback like free cash—the more I get, the more I want. It helps me shape my ideas better and prepares me to do my best in the next opportunity. Good feedback works like nutrition for me.”“Bad feedback? Ouch—of course it hurts, right where it should. But it only makes me stronger,” she added. However, she pointed out that the only thing that truly demotivates her is negative feedback given without understanding the resources and limitations behind the story. “That said, I make my videos with love, so I try to accept every bit of feedback with love too,” Rhythm ended.
