5 things 2022 has taught Seerat Kapoor

After spreading her magic in the South industry, Seerat Kapoor recently made her Bollywood debut with Maarrich, which stars Tusshar Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah as the male leads. Ever since the movie has released, Seerat made all her fans completely mesmerized by her gravitas, nuances, charm and well, fashionable styles at the big screens! We can say that it was a fruitful year for the actress and now with just a few days to go until the new year, Seerat Kapoor shares the top 5 things she learned from 2022.

Conviction in yourself and the uniqueness of your journey

Believe in yourself beyond the voices around you. Your pace doesn’t have to match your neighbours. We can all coexist, being a secure person goes a long way.

To build and strengthen through each milestone, stepping stone and roadblock

Accept the entirety of your human nature, your emotional vessel, your divinity and your inherent voice. It brings about a rooted sense of awareness within. At times, we may go through uneasy moments. It’s important to be sensitive towards any dip in our mental being. We all know life comes with its own set of highs and lows. Embrace change. In place of resorting to escapism, if we chose to practise mindfulness and seize the present moment, every experience eventually makes us wiser. Be thankful for these opportunities that come your way.

Trust the process

This has been pivotal in my life. It is a lesson for which I’m very grateful to have learned. It doesn’t matter what the decision is, as long as it’s yours, it will be the right one for you. Only you can decide what’s best for you. Explore your own path by taking the responsibility of honing your choices. Eventually, we all learn from our mistakes so don’t stop, discover your higher power.

Keep away from believing in hearsay

Working in depth with my character and the script in my film Maarrich, makes one ponder- Is Maarrich a mere title or rather a metaphor that could be applied to all arenas of life? Look after yourself. Believe in your own instincts.

Be happy and cheerful

If things don’t go as per your plans, there’s probably something better awaiting you. Be open and optimistic. The process may be slow but patience and hard sure do shower back by a thousand folds.

In terms of her professional career, Seerat Kapoor will also be playing the female lead in Dil Raju’s next production venture, which is yet to be titled. Seerat Kapoor also acclaimed midnight fame for her song, ‘Slow Slow’ alongside Badshah.
