Massive Country Wide Protest to Support Madhur Bhandarkar

A massive country wide protest by multiple civil society groups across 40 cities of India to protest Congress’s vandalism and hooliganism as they disrupt and seek to censor Madhur Bhandarkar’s ( a national award winning filmmaker) Indu Sarkar due for release on 28 Jul 2017, merely because the film is set in the context of Emergency and may bring to light some inconvenient truths about the Congress.

We must all stand up to uphold the artistic freedom of expression, which the Congress has routinely and with impunity crushed post independence. The party that claims to speak for freedom of expression has more book and film bans to its credit than anyone else. It has jailed and banished artists, who have been critical of anyone from Nehru to Indira to Sonia Gandhi.

A detailed list of their excesses and location of protests is listed out in the site: http://congresskillsfreedom.com

Please read and share widely. Check out the various locations of protests and join, encourage others to join where convenient. Our voice must be heard..
