Building the anticipation further, the makers of the upcoming sports biopic ‘Padma Shri Kaur Singh’ have released the first song from the movie.

Featuring Karam Batth in the titular role of Padma Shri awardee and legendary Indian boxer Kaur Singh, the film had already sparked a lot of excitement among the audience post the trailer launch, and the song launch came as another treat for the fans.

The energy-boosting track titled ‘Maidan Fateh’ is produced by Karam Batth in association with Slay Records. Singer Ranjit Bawa, who has given several hits in the past, including Din Raat, Laavan and Much, has weaved magic with his voice yet again in this song. Star composer Jatinder Shah has worked on the music, and lyricist Raj Kakra has penned some meaningful, soul-stirring lyrics.

The track stars lead actor Karam Batth and Raj Kalra, and shows the sequence of the film where Kalra (in the role of Kaur Singh’s friend) helps him undergo vigorous training to become a boxer.

Karam’s hard work to get under his character’s skin has paid off well, as the actor looks like a professional athlete in the song.

The song was released on Tips Punjabi’s YouTube channel and has crossed 500k views within 24 hours.

Produced by Karam Batth and Vicky Mann, the Vikram Pradhan directorial is set to hit theatres on July 22, 2022.
