Indu Sarkar press conference had to be cancelled due to security concern as Congress workers threatened to disrupt the hotel premises.

The Congress workers were raising slogans of banning the film and also asking the press conference and promotional events to be cancelled. The local Congress workers came and captured the Hotel Lobby area while director Madhur Bhandarkar and team were inside their rooms.

The incident took place in a Hotel in a Pune city center where Congress workers protested and created ruckus inside the hotel. They were raising slogans “Indira Gandhi amar rahe“.

Police came later on and instructed to cancel the said event.

Indu Sarkar is Madhur Bhandarkar’s next after ‘Calender Girls’. His latest film has been under the wrath of Congress across India.
