BollyCon participates in Parmanu Trailer launch at PVR – City Mall, Andheri.

If it wasn’t obvious that Team BollyCon is here to stay after the special fan club screening with Varun Dhawan, then take a look at their more recent participation in the activation with John Abraham for the trailer launch of Parmanu.

Although the movie has been in the midst of a controversy, all those involved have come to a resolution and the movie is ready to hit theatres on the 25th of May 2018.

Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is based on the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by the Indian Army at Pokhran in 1998, under the leadership of India’s future President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, during the time of PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s tenure. John Abraham plays the lead member of the Pokhran Nuclear test team. The film tells the audience about the failures and the hidden facts that no one paid attention to and brings out the unsung heroes of the experiment that put India on the map as a global nuclear superpower.

Kenneth Hopkins, Founder of BollyCon says “The content promoted at BollyCon is very carefully curated so as to ensure that it has a meaningful discourse that appeals to our core demographics.”

In the case of Parmanu, there is a National Hard Power longevity that is being achieved by incorporating this episode of Indian Military supremacy into a dynamic storytelling form such as Bollywood, which also happens to be one of our biggest Soft Power exports, the movie makers are keeping the message alive that says to the world – “FYI, we have nukes now too!”

The screenplay & dialogues by Saiwyn Quadras, Sanyuktha Chawla & Abhishek Sharma who is also the Director, look very promising. The crafty movie score & the sound will keep your heart pumping for an edge of your seat adventure.
