Assam has earned global recognition as The Postcard at Durrung Tea Estate has been named the World’s Best Hotel 2025 by the highly regarded Gallivanter’s Guide, marking a landmark achievement for Indian and Northeast tourism.

The accolade places the historic Durrung Tea Estate on the world map for luxury travel, celebrating a rare hospitality experience where refined elegance blends seamlessly with Assam’s centuries-old tea heritage.
