Adah Sharma comments on Ban of the film Bastar the Naxal story

Adah Sharma has been riding the success wave the past 6 months. While her film The Kerala Story was one of the highest grossers of 2023 making it the highest female lead film of all time, she followed it up by the hugely successful Commando OTT and now three releases in a month The Kerala Story on OTT , Sunflower Season 2 and Bastar. The former two have been breaking records on the platform while the latter is in trouble .

Amid news of Adahs film Bastar getting banned ,the actress shared a video on social media saying -Bhagwaan apni sabse kathin ladai apne sabse shaktishaali sipaahiyon ko hi deta hai(God gives the toughest fights to his strongest soldiers )- Neerja Madhavan. It is a dialogue from Adahs film that her character says.
When we asked the actress what she has to say about the film being criticised by a certain section and being taken out of theatres she says ,

“Bastar getting banned in some places is not in my hands. The Kerala story becoming the highest grossing female lead film was also not in my hands. I’m thankful for all the love I’m receiving from those who have watched the film , the reviews and praises on social media are heartwarming and I have my family and blessings from the whole country so I will deal with cases and bans in the same way I dealt with all of it during The Kerala story.”

The video she shared has crossed 7 lakh views in 2 hours

Adah was last seen in Sunflower season 2 for which she recieved a lot of praise for her quirky character. She will next be seen in an international film.
