Steffi Gogoi, a proud Assamese and Senior UX Designer at ADP, has been crowned Miss Global Asia 2025 at the Hyatt Regency, Lake Washington, Seattle. Her win highlights not only her talent and dedication but also brings recognition to Assam on an international stage.

The pageant, held over three weeks for her, included interviews, public speaking, gown and traditional wear rounds, talent performances, and Q&A sessions. Despite balancing her professional work at ADP with rehearsals across time zones, Steffi’s perseverance and commitment stood out.

For her talent round, Steffi performed Bihu, a traditional dance from Assam, showcasing her cultural roots and pride. She has previously performed Bihu at several prestigious platforms, including:
• With the late Zubeen Garg and Zublee during a music concert in Pune (2016)
• In Jagga Jasoos at Film City in Mumbai, directed by Anurag Basu, where she also met Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif
• At the North East India Film Festival in Pune
• At the Namami Brahmaputra event hosted in Pune
• During the Seattle Parade and at the Gates Foundation, among other international events

“Performing Bihu allowed me to share a piece of my heritage with the world. This journey has been both humbling and inspiring,” said Steffi.

Steffi expressed heartfelt gratitude to AmPowering, a non-profit organization founded by Menka Soni. AmPowering creates platforms that uplift women and foster confidence, leadership, and community impact. She also acknowledged Astha Soni, Menka Soni’s daughter, who coaches the participants along with the wider AmPowering coaching team. She further thanked her family, friends, makeup artists, hairstylists, and photographers for their unwavering support, encouragement, and kindness during the pageant.

“This crown isn’t just for me, it is for every woman who dares to dream and works hard to make magic happen. I hope to inspire women everywhere to rise, shine, and celebrate their roots,” Steffi added.

Her achievement marks an inspiring milestone for Assam, putting the state’s talent, culture, and spirit in the international spotlight.
