Somy Ali recalls fond memories from Teesra Kaun set: ‘This was my fav film shoot out of all my movies’

Actress Somy Ali recently took to Instagram to reminisce about her time shooting for the 1994 thriller Teesra Kaun, directed by Partho Ghosh and starring Chunky Pandey, Mithun Chakraborty, Amol Palekar, Satish Shah, and Rakesh Bedi.

Sharing a lighthearted anecdote, Somy wrote, “Thanks for letting me borrow your shirt @chunkypanday in 1994. Sorry I forgot to return it.  @bhupisayan Don’t!  This was my fav film set to shoot.”

She went on to express gratitude for the warmth she received during the shoot, adding, “Sippy uncle was amazingly kind. They took care of me when in the middle of shooting another song, my appendix was about to burst. And, the best reason was that I got to shoot with Mithunda again where he played himself and what an honor to be in the same frame as Mr. Amol Palekar.”

For Somy, the experience remains unmatched. “By far this was my fav film shoot out of all my movies. I loved shooting ‘in rain’ (sprinklers/tanks of cold water) songs as it pours in Miami nostalgia hit big time,” she shared.
Nearly three decades later, her post brought fans a nostalgic glimpse into the making of the film, blending behind-the-scenes memories with her affection for co-stars and the crew.
