Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Dhaakad’ will miss its scheduled Diwali release and due to coronavirus scare the film has also got postponed indefinitely.

So far the Coronavirus outbreak is giving strong impact on the box office numbers , it has started with films like Angrezi Medium and few others later. Eventually, the official lockdown was announced and thereafter, it was obvious that films will witness a delay. Right from Sooryavanshi to ’83, the list is turning longer with each passing days .

Since many films have postponed their release dates indefinitely and now it’s the time for Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film Dhaakad, which is also expected to witness a delay and miss out on its original release date.

Dhaakad Producer Sohail Makhlai, while talking to a leading portal revealed that the movie was supposed to have its first schedule in April and while it did not happen due to Covid 19 Kangana’s shoot for Jayalalithaa biopic, which was due in July. Eventually the release date for Jayalalitha is also expected to be postponed. However, with the ongoing scenario, a shoot in July looks rather grim.

Sohail Makhlai further ads about the movie due for a release in Diwali. The COVID 19 virus has hit the entertainment industry, and therefore, there is no map for what is in store. And while Dhaakad will not be releasing on its schedule date
