'Bastar: The Naxal Story' actor Atharva Sawant

Atharva is all set to win the hearts of the audience with perfection in his upcoming movie ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’. The movie also stars Adah Sharma in the lead role and Atharva is all set to play a pivotal role in the project where he’s set to prove his class and mettle in front of the masses. The movie demanded that Atharva Sawant be on top of his game in every aspect and no wonder, he has given his blood, sweat and tears to it. Earlier, Atharva has already spoken about his love for fitness and how willingly he decided to transform himself according to the needs of the movie. But hey, apart from fitness and workout, what else does Atharva really enjoy doing? On being asked about the same, the talented actor said and we quote,

“Yes, fitness is something that has been a part of my life and I feel the right amount of discipline needs to be there for the same. However, apart from fitness and regular workout, another thing that helps me remain fit and on my toes is dance. I genuinely feel it is my forte and I absolutely love it. I feel it’s a great way for me to express myself and that’s why, I love it. As far as dance is concerned, I have trained professionally too. I have learnt Bollywood from Shaimak Dawar and I have learnt Urban Hip Hop from Ashley Lobo. Besides all this, I also love ‘salsa’ which I have learnt from Rahul Saxena. And as far as ‘folk’ is concerned, my passion for the same helped me learn it myself. So, yes, this is an art form that naturally appeals to me and I love it. I hope very soon I get to work in projects where I get to flaunt my dancing skills a little as well. That would be great.”

Well, here’s genuinely hoping that just like he wished, he truly gets to work in projects where he gets to flaunt his dancing skills in the future. Here’s wishing him good luck and success going forward for Bastar: The Naxal Story, that’s out in cinemas on 15th March 204, and all other future endeavours. Stay tuned for more updates.
