Mumbai, November 26th, 2017: IFFI Day 6 shed light on the impact of social media and the need for content driven films.

IFFI hosts a Press conference on Cinema of the World. The press conference was attended by Sheron Dayoc, director of Weeping River, Mehrdad Sedigihan, Actor/ High noon story and Sandra da Fonsec, Producer Montpamasse .

“My movie Children of The Night is from a true story from my boarding school. The school had an impact on my friend’s mind that was caught for an attempt to murder.” – Andrea

After watching the film Merdad Sedighian stated that, “such kind of a story are unexpected and also the climax. So its always intriguing how audience react to such content. I conceived the movie like getting a punch in my stomach’’.

Shekhar Kapur is an Indian film director, producer and storyteller. His directorial debut with cult Bollywood film Masoom won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Movie of the year while Mr. India was declared one of the “100 Greatest Indian Films of All Time” on the centenary of Indian cinema.
