First look of Jhanhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar starer Dhadak

Jhanvi Kapoor, the much talked about new-bee of Bollywood and Ishaan Khattar are finally took their first step into Bollywood recently. Daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, Jhanvi and Ishaan Khattar, brother of Shahid Kapoor, have been warmly welcomed by the film fraternity soon after Karan Johar shared posters of the film Dhadak.

The moment the  first look of Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor’s  much speculated Bollywood debut film is revealed it instantly went viral across all social media platform. Filmmaker Karan Johar shared three posters of the film on Twitter yesterday, which is titled Dhadak and also stars Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar.

First it was a video Karan spoke about the Big News which he was planning to launched at 5 pm yesterday, the 15th of Nov17

Jhanvi looks as stunning as her mother Sridevi in the posters .

Sharing the poster, Karan Johar wrote: “PRESENTING…JANHVI and ISHAAN @ZeeStudios_ and @DharmaMovies proudly present # directed by @ShashankKhaitan @apoorvamehta18 ..#DHADAKWatch.”

The film is reportedly a remake of Marathi hit film Sairat. Varun Dhawan has also shared his excitement about Jhanvi and Ishaan’s film Dhadak and welcomed Jhanvi to Bollywood.

Ishaan has already featured in Iranian director Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds, which released abroad earlier this year and he has assisted director Abhishek Chaubey in Shahid Kapoor’s critically acclaimed drug drama Udta Punjab.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, who has earlier directed Varun Dhawan in Badrinath Ki Dulhania,Dhadak will be produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Production. Karan Johar also delighted the fans by revealing the release date of the film, which is July 6, 2018.

It was also the moment social media had been waiting for to resurrect the nepotism debate. Soon after the posters of Jhanvi’s debut film went crazy viral, Twitter users showered comments like, “Hope they have at least acted well, to justify your love for #Nepotism KJo” or “How long will you promote these star kids?” Dhadak is reportedly a remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat, which featured Rinku Gupta in lead role, for which she also won a National Award.
