Featured Funtainment by Akanksha - August 30, 2025August 30, 20250 Kannada Kahale in Malaysia: A sincere effort to make Kannada a world-famous cultural festival and world recognition The prestigious “Kannada Kahale” program & World Best Kannadiga Award 2025 was organized by Sudha Ventures, with the support of the Department of Kannada and Culture, Government of Karnataka, on August 20, 2025 at the Royal Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The chief guests for this program were the Hon’ble Shri Shivaraj Tangadgi (Support), Minister of Kannada and Culture, Government of Karnataka, and the High Commissioner of India to Malaysia, Dr. Shri B. N. Reddy, Shri Surendra Kumar Hegde and Shri Anand Sankeshwar, V. R. L. Director and the World Beauty famed Smt. Sudhawho took the lead in leading it were present. After the inauguration, the program begun with the national anthems of India and Malaysia. A classical dance performance by Kannada dancers kicked off the cultural festivities of the program. Singing and various cultural programs were performed by artists from India, Malaysia and abroad. Famous artists Sai Kumar, actress Prema, singer Manasa Holla, singer Sachin and mimicry artist Gopi, along with many artists from Malaysia and Bangladesh, enthralled the audience with their artistic talents. Achievers from various fields were recognized and eight were honored with the “World Best Kannadigas 2025” award. A special platform for women, “Shringara Sabha”, was organized to honor the strength, creativity and achievements of women.
