Gaurav Sharma is seen in the role of Lakhan in Ishika Shahi’s new web series titled Jabb Zodiacs Met. The series, which has been produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Production, revolves around the 12 zodiac signs and their influence on an individual’s life. It went live on January 16 and is streaming on DKP’s official YouTube channel.

Gaurav felt the concept was very fresh and said, “As a Brahmin, I am a hardcore believer in astrology. The concept was very intriguing to me. Blending astrology with modern relationships was a very refreshing idea. I simply loved it.”

And though his character’s zodiac was different from his real zodiac sign, he said, “Since my zodiac sign was different from the character’s, I had to research how that character would react differently than I, as Gaurav, would have reacted. I personally enjoyed playing Lakhan, as he had a completely different personality from my own.”

He is a firm believer in destiny and cosmic connections when it comes to love. He said, “Destiny plays a very important part in almost everything, including love. When something is destined, the cosmos aligns itself to make it happen.” And he mentioned that the series made him realize that every person is somehow influenced by their zodiac sign.

Though he likes all the genres as an actor, he said, “If the stars could guide my next role, I would love to do an investigative thriller.”

He loved shooting for the series. “I loved how clear Ishika’s vision was. Ishika is young and very energetic. It didn’t feel like work; it was more of a collaborative effort,” Gaurav ended.
