With the release of Kesari Veer just around the corner, noted astrologer Ashutosh Clairvoyant has shared his predictions on the film’s prospects, blending planetary insights with box office expectations.

Directed by Prince Dhiman and co-produced by Kanu Chauhan, Kesari Veer is a historical action drama set against the backdrop of the Tughlaq Empire’s reign. The film stars Sooraj Pancholi as the legendary Hamirji Gohil, Suniel Shetty in a pivotal role, and Vivek Oberoi as the antagonist Zafar Khan. Slated for release on May 16, 2025, the film portrays the resistance of a warrior who fights to protect the Somnath Temple and preserve the Hindu faith.

Speaking exclusively about the film’s celestial alignment, Ashutosh Clairvoyant said, “The timing of the release—on Shukla Paksha—is highly auspicious in Vedic astrology. This phase supports growth, clarity, and reception. It’s a good omen for the film’s launch.”

Delving into planetary transits, he added, “Jupiter will be transiting Aries, a placement linked with courage, leadership, and new beginnings. This can boost the initial momentum and visibility for Kesari Veer. At the same time, Saturn in Aquarius emphasizes discipline and legacy—traits that may be reflected in the film’s production value and storytelling.”

The film is reportedly made on a budget of ₹50 crores, with industry experts estimating that it would need to gross around ₹70 crores globally to break even.

When asked about box office prospects, Ashutosh remained cautiously optimistic. “While astrology can’t replace audience reception, the signs are largely favorable. However, the film might have to rely on word-of-mouth due to its relatively low pre-release buzz,” he noted.

The movie is expected to open across 2,300 screens worldwide, including 2,000 in India. Trade analysts predict an opening day collection of ₹1 to ₹2 crores, citing the absence of traditional crowd-pullers in the lead cast.

On the potential audience appeal, Ashutosh remarked, “Historical narratives rooted in cultural heritage often strike a chord with Indian audiences. If the film delivers emotionally and visually, it could build strong legs post-release.”

For those involved in the project, Ashutosh also recommended a few astrological remedies: “Regular chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, making offerings on Thursdays to honor Jupiter, and charitable donations towards education and the arts can help align the project with positive cosmic forces.”
