Actor and celebrity stylist Riddhima Sharma is forever a daddy’s girl and his cheerleader. In a heartwarming post that she shared on her Instagram handle, she spoke about his strength and sacrifice, which she has witnessed growing up in her home.

The post is in reference to the war drama Border 2, featuring Varun Dhawan, Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, among others, which will hit the screens on January 23.

In her post, which had her father in his uniform, she wrote, “Feeling deeply blessed, emotional, and immensely proud to be the daughter of a BSF officer—a real hero who chose duty above comfort, service above self, and the nation above everything else. I have grown up watching the strength, discipline, sacrifices, and silent courage that come with belonging to a BSF family, and it has shaped who I am today. I salute each and every brave jawan who stands fearlessly at our borders so that we can live in peace—you are the true heroes of our country, and your sacrifices can never be measured or forgotten.”

Talking about the 1997 superhit movie Border, she wrote, “Border felt extremely personal and relatable because it reflected the life I have lived, the emotions I have felt, and the pride I carry every single day. Now, I can’t wait to watch Border 2 and witness the powerful journey of a son, a mother, a wife, and the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for our nation—a story of love, separation, courage, and ultimate sacrifice.”
