Creative content thinking, through the eyes of women achievers this Women’s day

Cinema4screen on Women's day

“Creativity is the awakening of the consciousness, the soul. Creativity is thus the metamorphosis of the soul.#MyIdentityMyPride is such a metamorphosis” says Somsubhro Sarkaar.

Cinema4screen is a platform for young minds who wants to bring a change in the cinematic vision in India through their creativity.

No wonder the merger of Cinema4screen and #MIMP will help encourage those who dare to take risks. It gives a real-life perspective of those women who fought against the heaviest odds to achieve what they wanted by sacrificing their personal priorities.

These real women have not only inspired thousands of people but have deeply impacted creative content thinking.

Renowned photographer Somsubhro Sarkaar’s award-winning series #MyIdentityMyPride will now be showcased on the Cinema4screen platform to inspire storytellers and others in the fraternity. This online exhibition will be supported by a series of discussions on the real characters ( for ex. Urmila Mahanta, Manjulatha Kalanidhi (The woman behind Rice Bucket Challenge), who also features in the pictures) their presence in the discussion.

The online exhibition will start from Sunday 13th February 2022 and will go on till 7th March 2022 finally it will celebrate women’s day on 8th March 2022 through a panel discussion with prominent women from the series.

The whole online event has been jointly conceptualized, coordinated and presented by ace photographer Somsubhro Sarkaar, founder & director of Cinema4screen, Mr Anshuman Chaudhary and professor of media & communication, Dr Sudipta Roy Chowdhury.
