Sushant Sing Rajput is getting trained in NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) for his upcoming film Chanda Mama Door ke and makes India proud to be the first Bollywood actor to get trained at NASA.

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is having fun time while getting trained at NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) for his upcoming film, Chanda Mama Door Ke, where he plays an astronaut. In a new picture shared on Twitter, Sushant is seen wearing a white spacesuit.

Earlier Taran Adarsh shared the picture and wrote, “Sushant Singh Rajput to undergo special training at NASA’s Space & Rocket Center… Enacts the part of an astronaut in #ChandaMamaDoorKe.”

Producer Viki Rajani shared a picture of Sushant dressed as an astronaut training in USA-based premier aeronautics institute NASA. Viki Rajani wrote in caption that Chanda Mama Door Ke is the first Bollywood film to “ever visit NASA for training.” However, it was Shah Rukh Khan’s (whom Sushant idolizes) Swades, which was the first Bollywood film to reach NASA. SRK played the role of a researcher at NASA in the Ashutosh Gowariker-directed film, which was shot inside the NASA research center.

 

the film is directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, the film is touted as India’s first space odyssey. From practicing the moonwalk to experiencing zero gravity to flying a space shuttle simulator, Sushant will do everything to prepare well for his role.

 

Chanda Mama Dorr ke  is set to go on the floors by the end of September. Producer Viki Rajani was quoted as telling Mumbai Mirror, “We were to flag off in May-June but will now start shooting by the end of September or early October. In the coming week, the international technical crew is flying down to Mumbai. We have been working on it for a year now but big films take time. We didn’t want to make a mess by starting off without proper planning.”

The film will be shot in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi as well as international studios.

Sushant co-stars in Chanda Mama Door Ke with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and R Madhavan. Nawazuddin is awaiting the release of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz and is filming Nandita Das’ Manto. Nawazuddin also plays an astronaut in the film and will join the shoot after completing his other projects.

Madhavan, who was recently seen in Vikram Vedha, will play the role of a test pilot in the film directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.
