Singer Kavita Seth collaborated with a Pakistani poet for her new song

Kavita seth who is known for her sufi singing and has won several awards for the same, is now collaborated with the famous Pakistani Poet Rehman Faris for her next single ” Yeah jo mujh par nikhar hai “.Rehman Faris is civil service officer by profession in lahore.

Rehman Faris who is a passionate poet from Pakistan, when  first met  Kavita Seth 20 years back at a mushayara held in Mumbai. They both bonded over their passion for poetry.  Rehman mailed some of his poetry to Kavita which she really liked and decided to compose a song named ”Ye Jo Mujh Par Nikhar Hain” which is  a brand new sufiana song for all sufi lover.

On touching base with her she stated “I don’t believe in banning Pakastani artists, it is not a solution to keep Indo-Pak relations healthy. Finally i am happy that the song is out, and we as an artists i believe in creating memorable moments through my music”.
