Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was shooting for casting director turned filmmaker Honey Trehan’s directorial debut Raat Akeli Hai in Kanpur has wrapped up the film. The actor took to his Twitter and shared.
“It’s a wrap for #RaatAkeliHai, a beautiful experience working with the talented @HoneyTrehan on his directorial debut. Amazing team and outstanding process. Thank you @RonnieScrewvala & @RSVPMovies @Macguffinpictures @radhika_apte.”
The actor, who has recently given two hits Thackarey and Photograph in the first quarter of 2019 will be seen romancing Radhika Apte in the film. This is their third collaboration together after Sriram Raghvan’s revenge thriller Badlapur and Ketan Mehta’s biographical drama Manjhi: The Mountain Man.
Raat Akeli Hai is helmed by Honey Trehan, who has previously assisted Vishal Bharadwaj on his films like 7 Khoon Maaf, Omkara and Maqbool.
The film is a love story set in the heartland of India that also stars Haramkhor actress Shweta Tripathi, Ila Arun, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Swanand Kirkire in the pivotal roles. It would be interesting to see Nawazuddin and Radhika Apte romancing each other on screen yet again.
