Local Kung Fu fame actor Kenny Basumatary to play a pivotal role in upcoming series “Yaara”

Kenny Deori Basumatary talented actor, director from Assam to play a lead role in upcoming series “Yaara”. The film, which also stars Vidyut Jammwal, Amit Sadh, Shruti Haasan, Vijay Varma and Sanjay Mishra, chronicles the friendship between four criminals. The film is scheduled to premiere through ZEE5 on 30 July.

The film is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by AZURE Entertainment, “Yaara” is a remake of 2011 French crime-drama “Gang Story”.

Director Dhulia said that the film is a “homage” to friendship and is a “riveting take” on crime narrative.
“I think another highlight of the film is the casting. It is a unique, talented mix of actors who have done a phenomenal job on each of their characters. All of them have their own indigenous style to express their lines and emotions. It is great that the film will premiere on ZEE5, a platform that always backs meaningful content,” the 52-year-old director Dhulia said in a statement.

There should be another reason to proud of Kenny Basumatary. He will not only features in “Yaara” but also in “Nirontor” in Zee5 platform.
