Organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland, in collaboration with Synergy Group Enterprise, the grand finale was held at Legislative Park, attracting food lovers, culture advocates, and emerging chefs from across the state. A Competitive Finale with Cultural Depth The finale featured the Top 4 contestants — Hamngam, Moalong Imchen, Sentipokla Jamir, and Lebinuo Medoze Sano — who competed in the signature “My Naga Thali” challenge. Each participant had 75 minutes to craft a complete traditional thali consisting of: One main non-vegetarian dish One main vegetarian dish One side dish One gravy One chutney A hot beverage A dessert Earlier in the day, the finalists faced the Mystery Basket Challenge, where they drew lots to pick two mandatory ingredients that had to be incorporated into their dishes. One contestant was eliminated during this round, narrowing the field to the final four. Jury and Chief Guest The Season 12 jury panel included noted culinary experts Nuneseno Chase, Lori Khing, and Rovi Chase. The finale was graced by Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio, who attended as the Chief Patron, underscoring the state government’s support for promoting Naga culture through food.
