Sudhir Mishra’s Magnum Opus Daas Dev Trailer
Launched By 20 Top Film Makers.

In an unprecedented, never seen before event, 20 top film makers came together to launch
Director Sudhir Mishra’s upcoming magnum opus, Daas Dev at PVR ECX, Citi Mall,
Mumbai recently. The cast and crew including the lead actors, Rahul Bhat, Richa Chadha and
Aditi Rao Hyderi played perfect hosts at the occasion along with the film’s producer, Sanjeev
Kumar and presenter, Gaurav Sharma.
Sudhir Mishra’s guru veteran film maker Saeed Mirza along with Rahul Ravel, Ketan
Mehta, Prakash Jha, Satish Kaushik, Pankaj Parashar, Vishal Bhardwaj, Imtiaz Ali,
Nikhil Advani, Umesh Shukla, Vijay Krishna Acharya, Kunal Kohli, Anubhav Sinha,
Abhishek Kapoor, Mudassar Aziz, Ruchi Narain, Avinash Das, Ashoke Pandit, Ashwini
Choudhary, and Ajay Bahl all came together under one roof to talk about their association
with Sudhir Mishra and their excitement about Daas Dev.

 

The trailer was launched amidst a lot of applause by all the directors present and they
couldn’t stop raving about it.

“I acknowledge the fact that the three characters are Sarat Babu’s (Sarat Chandra
Chattopadhyay). However, when we started writing this film, Shakespeare started messing
around with my head and it became a film about the lust for power and how it obstructs love.
Then Paro escaped from the haveli and started confronting Dev and Chandramukhi, even
though she’s a manipulator, fixer, money handler, still insisted on retaining her love for Dev.
The film became a reverse journey, a journey from Daas to Dev. This is the plot of my film
and a glimpse of that can be seen in the trailer,” explains Sudhir Mishra.

 

Daas Dev also features a great ensemble of brilliant actors with a never seen before
characterisation enacted by Saurabh Shukhla along with Vipin Sharma, Deep Raj Rana, Dalip
Tahil in key roles. The film also has special appearances by Anurag Kashyap and Vineet
Singh.
Presented Storm Pictures and produced by  Saptarishi Cinevision, Daas Dev is set to
release on the 23rd March 2018 worldwide.
